3 Dimmings Dale - easy going
Ramblers Retreat car park
Mill Pond view • Dimmings Dale valley, the Pools finishing at the Ramblers Retreat
Dimmingsdale is a must-see in the Autumn - dogs welcome, with or without a camera!

One2one Workshop for 2

Hi Noel

Thanks again for the workshop. Hopefully my best chance of developing those skills will be when we go to Lanzarote next week. It was really helpful.  I hope the following will serve as a suitable testimonial:

Jane and I wanted to move on from using the "automatic" settings on our cameras all of the time. Noel established the perfect friendly environment in his studio for us to learn a little more. He had done research on our cameras before the session, quickly grasped our current level of knowledge and understood clearly what we wanted to achieve. In the two hour workshop Noel came up with a range of ideas for us to try in order to improve the quality of the pictures we now hope to produce. All based on some easy to understand principles. We also enjoyed listening to how he produced some of his wonderful photos. Highly recommended!

Good Morning,
Thank you for the group photo, much appreciated.  I enjoyed the day.  I do almost all my photography on my own and it was nice to see other people working.  The workshop brought things together a bit for me.  I think I don't pay enough attention to detail, with the composition or the kit I'm using.

Hello Noel,
Exposure Compensation has certainly made a difference. I have been out and about locally and have had an enjoyable afternoon today around Eccleshall and as far as Market Drayton and the Shropshire Union Canal there and at Tyrley Locks and have had some pleasing results.
I received your Staffordshire in Photographs Book today and it has given me some thoughts on local locations although many I am familiar with.
I do intend to join the Stafford Photographic Society and hope to attend the Presidents Evening on 3rd Sept.

I have so much enjoyed visiting you this morning and for your helpful advice. I look forward to seeing you next Tuesday with my camera and then I am sure I will learn a great deal more about the capabilities of my camera and more important show me how to operate all the various settings because I have to confess I am scared to touch things because I may do something stupid and jeopardise using the camera which seems to operate generally satisfactorily.
