Snowdonia
If anyone would have told me a walking weekend in Snowdonia during January would be a great idea, I would have laughed! How wrong I was.
The 3 days spent with my wife Chrissie and good friends turned out to be cold but sunny and calm. We even enjoyed the sun cutting through the morning mist. A cooked breakfast nearly got left behind.
We started out on the 1st of 3 days in Llandudno eating lunch on the beach!. Our base was the National Mountaineering Centre near Capel Curig.
We were lucky enough to have our own guide Mike, but this was due to us falling behind everyone else while taking our photographs!
I hope these photographs give you an idea of just how beautiful this area can be.
